Popular skit maker and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori also known as Kie Kie, has revealed how she had cohabited with her now husband before their official wedding.
She said the news had been hidden from her church even when she was a worker in the house of God.
Kie Kie made the revelation on Toke Makinwa’s podcast, TokeMoments. She said her rent had elapsed and she couldn’t renew it because it was months to her wedding so she moved in with her husband.
She said, “My husband and I started living together before we got married because my rent was already due.
“My rent was due in September, and we were going to get married in January. So, I can’t renew my rent. And we had done our introduction by then.
“The church wasn’t aware that we were already living together. I was even singing in the church choir then.”
She also talked about what marriage had taught her and the experience as a new mother.
Kie Kie tied the knot with her husband in February 2020 and welcomed their first child in November 2022.
