Nollywood actor and the President of the Theatre Arts and Movies Production Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr. Latin has revealed how they only render help to their active members when needed.
In an interview with 32FM in Ibadan, Mr Latin said the association pays more attention to ailing members of its association than the ones who are not members.
According to him, the association has spent over N10 million on ailing members since he became president.
He stated that actors who go on social media, radio interviews to solicit for help are not affiliated with the association.
Mr Latin said some of the actors do not come to them out of shame because they are not members.
He said, “We always come to the aid of all active members. Since I became the TAMPAN President, we have spent more than N10 million on the actors’ health challenges.
“The ones you see going on radio or TV to beg for money are not active members of the association.”
