Afrobeat singer, Ayo Balogun, known as Wizkid, has bagged two nominations at the BET Awards 2022.
The singer made it to the best international category of the list. He was nominated for the Best male R&B/Pop artist alongside global artistes like Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Giveon and others.
He also made it to the Best Collaboration category with his song Essence which featured female singer, Tems. He will be battling for the award with Doja Cat’s Kiss me More, Nicki Minaj and Bia’s Whole Lotta Money, Way Too Sexy by Drake and Future, and others.
Wizkid won the international artiste for 2012 and 2017 respectively and another award in 2020 for his feature in Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl.
