Grammy winning artiste, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has earned another plague with his song Essence featuring Tems.
The song has become the first African song to win the iHeartRadio Titanium Award.
The news was shared by Tems’ manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, who shared a video clip of the award via his Instagram story on Monday.
Titanium award is bestowed to artistes with over 1 billion spins across iHeartRadio stations in America. Essence earns that title.
Essence was released on Wizkid’s fourth studio album Made in Lagos in October 2020.
