Media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has revealed how he lost an endorsement deal because of results from his podcasts.
He said he was tagged as a misogynist because of trending shows he has had regarding how he views women.
Nedu on the latest episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast revealed the information.
The actor said the deal was from a beverage company and they had stated that they wouldn’t want to be associated with someone who doesn’t like women because of the female audience.
According to him, losing the deal didn’t make him feel bad.
He said, “I almost signed an endorsement three weeks ago and I lost it. I’m not feeling bad. I didn’t feel bad for a second but I lost it.
“Why did I lose it? Because a lot of people were flying with the narrative, ‘Nedu hates women.’ And it’s a beverage brand.
“The brand said, ‘If this is what people are saying, it means it is not going to go well with our female audience.”
