The Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has again pledged to end poverty and insecurity if elected into office in 2023.
The renowned legal practitioner made this known at the official campaign flag-off of the party’s Adamawa State governorship candidate, Umar Ardo.
Speaking to the party supporters, Adebayo said Nigerians are tired of poor governance and inept leadership.
“The purpose of the SDP is to abolish poverty and insecurity. We promise you that every local government in Adamawa will know peace,” he said.
“We’ll defeat terrorists, insurgents and cattle rustlers. We will have a strong Army to protect the Adamawa people and Nigerians.
” We will build dams so that there will be no more floods. We will recover the Lake Chad so that people can do fishery. We will complete the hydrothermal stations.
“We will build railway, open the economy and build more universities. We will enforce chapter 2 of the Constitution”.
