Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has shamed his colleague, Alex Ekubo, whose ex-fiancé Fancy Acholonu recently called off their marriage.
This is coming after Alex took to his Instagram page on Saturday, August 28 to announce and celebrate upon receiving a honorary doctorate degree in Arts and Culture from Institut Superier de communication et de Gestion (ISCG University) in Benin Republic as recognition for his works.
His post read: “Introducing, Dr Alexx Ekubo Thanks to the governing council of the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG UNIVERSITY) for conferring on me Doctorate (Honorary) Degree in Arts & Culture.”
While congratulatory messages flooded the post, controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, reacted differently as he opined that he doesn’t see the need for Ekubo to be rejoicing.
The actor claimed it was wrong for Alex to celebrate his honorary degree immediately after his breakup.
His post read, “Someone Wey No fit continue From engagement To wedding No suppose Dey rejoice over Honorary University Degree Charity of wisdom Begin at home oga.
“This is not right at all, will you be happy if someone breaks up his engagement with your sister only for him to start rejoicing over getting an honorary degree from a university on social media a few days after a breakup?
“Must you celebrate that immediately oga? What message or Nollywood lesson be that? When dem don attends oba party dem go begin to do something that even the gods no understand”.
It can be recalled that Maduagwu had been physically attacked recently by actor Jim Iyke over a similar action.
