Nollywood actors and the students of the late actor, Murphy Afolabi, have held a candlelight service in honour of their colleague and mentor.
The service was well attended by notable stars like Olaiya Igwe, Kelvin Ikeduba, Richardo Agbor, Yemi Solade, Adekola Tijani, among others.
The event had many actors speak about the late Murphy and how he helped them in the industry before his passing.
Actor Kelvin Ikeduba stated that the late Murphy had been the one to make him realize his talent. He said God had used Murphy to bless him to be able to showcase his career.
The actor had left the stage in a state of an emotional wreck. Many were seen in tears as they said wonderful things about their mentor.
The actor died on Sunday, May 14, 2023 and was buried two days after at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos.
