Nollywood actresses, Habibat Jinad and Yetunde Bakare, have resumed their messy fight and unresolved issues after four years.
Jinad on her Instagram page on Monday called Yetunde out for badmouthing her in the industry. She said the actress has been telling people not to give her projects or work with her.
She pleaded with the actress to reconsider because of her son who she has to feed and take care of.
In the video she made, she said, “Pls I just want to live for the sake of my son. I am passing this information for my colleagues in the industry. I hear rumours about me in the industry, allow me live for my son.
“Consider my mental health. Yetunde Bakare what you did is too much, you have begged me but that thing keeps coming back.
“Lots of people want to help me, when they ask about me, you say ‘no go area’, you spoil my name. Did I kill someone?.”
Yetunde responded with an Instagram video to debunk the allegations.
In the video, she admitted that they had a scuffle four years ago and because she had called Jinad herself to resolve the issue because she heard false rumour and acted on it.
Yetunde denied stopping Jinad’s bags, she claimed that the actress is only talking based on what transpired between them years ago.
She said she doesn’t relate with most producers and directors so Jinad’s claims are false.
A lot of celebrities have taken to their respective Instagram pages to help them resolve it.
A senior colleague, Omo Borty in Jinad’s page recounted similar ordeal she faced in the industry.
She said, “Smiles…. This revolves my dear. My set did same to me that year and still doing till now. They will even fight that my name be removed from visits to high places, because they feel intimidated. Yet I rise and still rising.
“Habibat your own helper will definitely not pass you by. Believe in God and remain hour decent self. It’s only God that connects and never disconnects. Even if they are the one who connects you…trust me they will spoil the place for you once they see you rising beyond their expectations. So stay with God.”
