Nollywood actress, Bidemi Kosoko, has survived a fire accident at her apartment.
The news was made public by the actress’ sister, Sola Kosoko on her Instagram page.
According to her, the family were at their father, Jide Kosoko’s house to celebrate Christmas with him as a family tradition when a frantic call had altered Bidemi of the situation of her house.
Fortunately no one was in the house when it happened but videos shared on Sola’s page showed the extent of the damage left by the fire.
The house was completely burnt leaving damaged roof and properties.
The fire accident was reported to have taken place on Tuesday, boxing day.
Sola wrote, “It is a tradition in my family to spend 26th December at our daddy’s place, where we all exchange and unwrap our gifts.
“This year, Bidemi Kosoko, her husband, kids and domestic staff were all at our daddy’s residence, so her apartment was locked up.
“In the middle of our merriment, we received an alarming call that Bidemi’s apartment and that of her neighbour was on fire
“We were on different video calls watching the scenario, and how the fire fighter arrived, her apartment was forced open to put off the fire.”
