A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has dismissed reports that he has left the ruling party for the opposition, the Labour Party.

Garba said in a video on Wednesday, said, “Since yesterday, they have been busy trending that I have left the APC. How is that possible?

“It seems the way these people love me, they are doing everything possible to show that I have left the APC and joined the Labour Party. These Obidients guys are just jokers.”

Also reacting, the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Grassroots Independent Presidential Campaign, noted that the rumours of defection from the APC are “false and being propagated by the opposition”.

The Campaign added on Wednesday that the former presidential aspirant “remains a loyal member of the APC and is fully committed to the values of the Tinubu/Shettima Renewed Hope Ticket”.
