The Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi also known as ‘Iku Baba Yeye’, has celebrated his 51st coronation celebration.
The monarch was crowned on November 18, 1970 after the reign of Alaafin Gbadegesin Ladigbolu II.
His photo was posted on his official Instagram page.
The 83-year-old monarch was captured in a white outfit and posing for the camera while raising one of his legs.
His caption reads, “Alaafin Oba Adeyemi III stepping into 51yrs of meritorious service to humanity, Oyo town, Oyo State, Nigeria, West Africa and the world, Iku Baba Yeye, kemi Ola kogun.”
He is married to many wives but Olori Ayaba Abibat Adeyemi is his senior wife.
