The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Andy Uba, has been declared winner of his polling unit.
According to result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Uba garnered 80 votes in Polling Unit 017, Uga Ward 1, Uguata Local Government Area.
The candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chukwuma Soludo, picked up 10 votes while Valentine Ozogbo, his People’s Democratic Party counterpart, had just two votes.
Recall that Uba had earlier expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise after casting his ballot.
He said, “INEC’s arrangement is transparent and orderly. Things are going smoothly; we are going to win this election.
“The security, everything is in order. By the end of everything, APC will be number one.”
