The deputy governor of Anambra State, Dr Nkem Okeke has dumped the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the November 6 Anambra state governorship election.
This is after a delegation of APC leaders led by Senator Andy Uba stormed the Ngozika Estate home of the deputy governor on Wednesday evening for a meeting.
It is understood that the APC took advantage of the rift between Okeke and Governor Obiano to convince him for a move away from APGA.
Uba, who is APC’s governorship candidate stormed Okeke’s home alongside his running mate, Barr Emeka Okafor, his campaign DG, Chief Paul Chukwuma among others.
