A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode, yesterday, said that after he joined the APC in September 2021, the demons he thought were in the ruling party moved to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“The APC of the past is not the APC of today…The demons that were in the APC at that time have simply relocated and gone into the PDP,” he said on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Monday.

“My views were my views then and things changed when a new leadership came into the party, a leadership that is responsible and sensitive to the feelings of people,” he said.

He said he left the PDP because the party became the monster he thought the APC was, adding that the ruling party is now transformed “no matter what your faith is, no matter what your ethnic is”.

He stated that he left the PDP because it had turned into the monster he thought APC was. He added that the ruling party had changed “no matter what your faith is, no matter what your ethnicity is,”

The former minister indicated that Nigeria must make difficult decisions if it wants to thrive economically, he however noted that there would be palliatives to lessen the effects of such actions.

He went on to say that the APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, would discontinue the things Buhari has not done properly.

Recall that the former aviation minister Fani-Kayode served as the PDP’s Presidential Organization’s director of media and publicity in 2015, when incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan ran for reelection but lost to Muhammadu Buhari of the APC.
