APC: ‘You will join us very soon,’ Zulum tells Bauchi Governor

Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum on Thursday, said he wants Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Borno Governor made the comment at the Bauchi state Government House during an event of North-East governors.

The governors and their colleagues from other north-east states were in Bauchi to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and upgrading of the Bauchi state Government House.

“The only quarrel that I am having with my colleague, the governor of Bauchi state is his refusal to come into the APC.

“But inshallah, very soon, he will join us. He’ll join the progressives. I am here to support him.”

The governors were in Bauchi state on Wednesday, for their 4th zonal meeting.

Governors Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe and Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa were also present, the governors of Taraba and Yobe were represented by the deputies.

Meanwhile, Governor Mohammed on Tuesday, March 2 described the feud between him and his Benue counterpart, Governor Samuel Ortom over comments relating to the farmers/herders crisis as regrettable.

Governor Mohammed made the comment at the Government House, Port Harcourt, Rivers State where host Governor Nyesom Wike and Governor Fintiri, reconciled the duo.
