Afrobeat singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment in Cross River State.
He was appointed by the State Governor, Ben Ayade.
The kukere singer took to his Instagram page on Wednesday night to make the announcement, thanking God and the governor for the opportunity given to him.
Iyanya said, “It’s forward ever and backward never. I have been appointed the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment to the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade.
“I thank God who made this possible and also my Governor for finding me worthy to handle this position.”
