The Lagos State Police Command on Monday, May 17, 2021, has agreed to release Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha, who was arrested on alleged case of child rape, on bail, with the sum of N500,000.
His lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, revealed to a news source that he was preparing to release his client on administrative bail.
According to him, the Police has agreed to grant the suspect a bail with two sureties, a blood relation and civil servant.
He said: ”Yes I can confirm to you that my client has been granted bail by the police. The terms of the bail include two reliable sureties- a blood relation and a level 10 civil servant. We are currently working to meet the bail conditions.”
Recall that the lawyer had cried out to the commissioner of police that his client was being traumatized and in a frail condition the last time he saw him.
According to Ogunlana, Baba Ijesha had a limp on his right leg.
