Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has finally reacted to the N500m lawsuit by singer Naira Marley.
Recall that a week ago, news had circulated that the actress was served with a lawsuit for defamation of character.
According to the lawsuit, Iyabo Ojo had spread false information about the singer. Naira Marley had demanded for a public apology and payment of N500m for damages.
In response to the news, Iyabo Ojo on her Instagram page had shared the papers containing Naira Marley’s lawsuit. In her caption, she stated that the papers were circulated on the internet without getting to her.
She has counter-sued the singer for creating false impressions about her. She said she is equally looking forward to them.
Her post read, “MY RESPONSE TO THE LETTER FROM MR OLALEKAN OJO SAN DELIBERATELY CIRCULATED OVER SOCIAL AND PRINT MEDIA WITHOUT DESERVING COURTESY TO SERVE ME.
“I look forward to hearing from them at no distant time, please. Yours sincerely, Iyabo Ojo.”
Her hashtags include her continuous quest for justice for Mohbad, she also said she has ‘coconut head’.
