Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha also known as Basketmouth, and his wife, Elsie, are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary today, November 6, 2021.
Basketmouth took to Instagram to reveal how his wife had given him a fake contact the day they met.
Subtly mocking her, he said they are presently celebrating their wedding anniversary despite her attempt to prevent that.
He said, “After you gave me a fake phone number the 1st day I met you, no be 11yrs we don marry so? This life sha, shakara no good sometimes.
“Happy Anniversary to you @elsieokpocha thanks for choosing me, thanks for saying yes, thanks for giving me a beautiful home and thank you for being my wife. Love you forever.”
Elsie posted a lovely video on her Instagram page.
Her caption read: “Forever and For Always is what we will always be. I love you till Eternity BabyHappy 11th Anniversary to us.”
The pair got married in 2010 and they have three children together, Janelle, Jason and Maya Okpocha.
Basketmouth had a child, Amy, before he got married to his wife.
