Reality TV star, Dorathy Bachor, has stated that Mercy Eke won easily in the PepperDem season because she didn’t have a stronger contender in the finale.
This conversation was ignited at the Blackbox Roundtable Conversation with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The roundtable discussion was tagged ‘The IT Girls of BBNaija’ which includes Tacha, Dorathy, Mercy Eke, Cee C, Bisola, Tboss, Alex and Erica.
In a discussion made about Mercy’s season. Dorathy said the winner of PepperDem won because Mike who was the runner up wasn’t a strong contender.
This had come up when they were discussing why Mercy was greatly supported by fans. Bisola said the agenda had been that a female must win for that season because men had always taken the spot so Mercy was supported.
Bisola argued that Mercy was greatly loved and picked as the winner because they all wanted a woman to win.
However, Dorathy, in her defence, remained on her stance. She said other contenders in the show, especially the last finale, couldn’t stand Mercy’s energy in terms of support.
Dorathy said Mike is married and with ‘phonetics’ and that didn’t fetch him enough fans. It was argued that Mercy and Tacha would have been a better match for the finale because they were matching in everything including fans support.
