As we are gradually moving towards the end of BBNaija lockdown season with the reunion, it’s clear to say there are no stones left unturned.
Previous days have had issues about clashes in the house, misunderstandings about space and tension about food and not to forget the triangles in the house.
Day 11 brought another round of solving clashes or a continuation from Day 10. Ebuka asked the reason for some clashes in the house.
Lucy/Nengi
Nengi talked about how Lucy attacked her in the house for having more time for the men. According to her, she is an adult and can decide to play with guys as she wishes. Lucy on the other hand said she said those words to her to spite her, it doesn’t mean that much to her. Recall that these two had a brawl in the house, almost resulting in a close fight if it hadn’t been resolved quickly. Nengi confronted Lucy for gossiping about her and Lucy denied it. That quickly resulted in them throwing words at each other in the house.
Praise/Neo
Praise said he was stunned to see that Neo nominated him especially with the kind of friendship they had in the house. In his defence, Neo said he was in a tight corner as other housemates nominated for eviction were closer, especially his lover, Vee.
Prince/Neo
This swiftly shifted to Prince who hopped in on the discussion saying Neo did something similar to that. According to Prince, Neo backstabbed him several times but he made things worse by saying he faked his emotions about the story concerning his dad, to get people’s sympathy. Neo said he felt he was just trying to get attention in the house. And also that he tried to apologise after the house but it didn’t work. Prince said he doesn’t need his apology since he was ‘conscious’ when he said those things.
Quickly, Ebuka shifted the attention to Vee and Wathoni’s fight in the house. Vee said she felt bad that Wathoni spilled to a lot of people who felt the need to constantly remind her of what she did. Wathoni said people deal with things differently so she told her clique several times and the matter was discussed.
Day 12
It started with the men of course, the alphas in the game. They were all dressed in corporate wear looking dashing as always. Ebuka talked about how people come into the house with a game plan to win the game and how they are easily flooded. It was all laughs and exciting to see them all in one place with wide smiles.
Neo started with how he came into the house thinking he has it all only to meet people with almost everything he has so he was left with what he has inside of me to work for him. Tochi said the same thing, however he made things even funnier when he cut Praise off by saying relationships happened in the house because of the ‘coldness’ in the house. According to him, the temperature of the house was too cold and people were already in each other’s arms from the first day. He added that he suffered the most because there was nothing to cuddle with.
Attention was shifted to the housemates’ prediction on the winner when they walked into the house. Brighto said Prince, Trickytee said Prince or Ozo.
Moving on, the ladies were seen looking gorgeous as ever. When asked about the need for relationships in the house. Vee said it was unavoidable because there are equal numbers of both genders and in a house for several days, it was inevitable.
Nengi said she had more relationships with the guys because they were not judgemental, Vee agreed. They all agreed their men were more friendly than the women of their set.
Katrina and Nengi ended their grudge on a great note. Dorathy spoke about fans and how the housemates should relate with that. In her words: “We all have our own individual minds and we can’t control what the fans do, so try as much as possible to avoid them getting into your heads.” So basically, said “do you and do not let what the fans think affect how you relate to other housemates”. She also apologised for her wrongdoings.
Discussion resulted on what happens after the show, the pressure, the fame and how they live up to it. Few housemates like Nengi, Laycon, Trickytee, Neo, Kiddwaya and Dorathy talked about how pressure and fame can be managed after the show.
The lockdown reunion ended with more laughter than we imagined and in the history of BBNaija reunions. Issues were solved and misunderstandings were lifted.
