Reality TV star, Gifty Powers, has finally reacted to Hanks Anuku’s alleged mental health troubles.
Recall that a silhouette of a man looking like the actor was spotted on the streets of Asaba looking unruly and begging for alms from passengers in Benin.
Days after the allegations, the actor made a video to debunk the news stating that they are all false. He told bloggers to stay off his back.
In reaction to the story, BBNaija’s Gifty Powers slammed her colleagues for their display of fake love when one reaches the peak and there is no return.
She said celebrities display their luxurious way of life on their social media pages but chose to ignore their colleague who is roaming the streets in search of help.
She said social media has become a sanctuary where people feel the need to make certain sacrifices to suit the lifestyles on these apps.
Her caption read, “It’s funny the so-called celebrities post their luxuries on their page, yet they can’t afford to contribute something on behalf of Hanks Anuku.
“The so-called multi-billionaire daughters and fathers, the ones married to upcoming politicians, the actresses who sleep with politicians, the actors who do the yahoo, the singers, the musicians… It’s a shame y’all can’t come out to support a colleague who is running madly on the streets.
“Well, it’s the world we live in. People sacrifice their souls, just to show off on social media and make the youngsters feel that their efforts has been for nothing.
“And after hanging their dirty undies outside, they come on their page and write “with God all things are possible”….small girl big God”….”we thank God for it all” as their caption…
“Na thunder go fire all of una.. Fools in the ’30s, 40s, etc.”
