Afrobeat rivals, Benson Daniel, aka BNXN, and Micheal Olayinka, aka RUGER, are at it again as they re-ignited their long time beef.

The duo who have always been at each other’s throats since their debut, on Thursday, dragged themselves over BNXN’s latest project, Bad since 97.

The online altercation had started when BNXN returned RUGER’s ‘shade’ after a few weeks. Recall that RUGER dragged the living hell out of BNXN when he said he shouldn’t be compared to the artiste because his hit songs are all collaborations.

His response had come as a result of a fan asking who is better.

Celebrating his album topping the charts, BNXN used one of RUGER’s lines to diss him. He tweeted, “What if I, what if I what if I, COOOKKKK #BadSince97”

The ‘Girlfriend’ crooner’s attention was quickly alerted and he replied telling BNXN to get a number one with a solo song. He also referred to him as a “fatty bumbum”.

His reply read, “Get a solo hit then talk to me fatty bum bum.”

In reaction to this, BNXN hit harder saying he has notable celebrities like Burna Boy to emulate. He told Ruger to open his eye patch so he would be able to see better.

The tweet read, “The project will ALWAYS be more important than the hit! Look at Burna Boy! That’s my yardstick, you think I wanna blow with 1/2 songs and I no fit come back ?? When he was dropping you didn’t call those songs hits back then but you see now? Open your eye patch.”

He also shared a screenshot showing Ruger’s albums and where they currently chart at 64 (Pandemic EP) and 33 (Deluxe edition) respectively.

He continued, “Project #1 and I didn’t have to whine my waist.”
