Popular Dancer and choreographer, Kaffy, has called out Music producer Samklef out for saying Nigerian celebrities show fake love to global artists instead of focusing on theirs.

Samklef posted a picture of late Bruno Iwuoha who died days ago, on his Instagram account to honour him.

However, his caption was indirectly passed to Nigerian celebrities.

His caption reads, “Sad, I heard he also died yesterday. But no be Yankee celebrity so I understand. RIP to a Nollywood legend.”

According to him, more attention needs to be focused on artists and actors in Nigeria.

Kaffy, who was in his comment section, slammed him for pointing fingers indirectly to Nigerian celebrities because they post and honour international artists when they die rather than celebrities in Nigeria.

Kaffy said people should be allowed to post whoever they want without being chastised for it. She said DMX impacted her in ways better than Bruno did.

According to her, DMX has more impact on people’s childhood growing up including her. She also added that people have been made to accept international resources to the local ones.

She said, “Just because people posted about DMX doesn’t mean it’s fake love. Even a lot of people here saying ‘don’t mind them celebrities e.t.c.’ DMX was part of their childhood. I am not happy we lost a legend but truth is he didn’t impact me same way as DMX did and that’s not my fault.

“We were born to consume more of the west than motherland. Instead of pointing fingers, let’s raise motherland together. We all would die one day and trust me, not everyone would feel the same way when I am gone too.

“Some will just discover me. A lot may mourn me but not all definitely loved me dunno. RIP LEGEND.”

Nollywood actor, Bruno Iwuoha died on April 9, 2021 same day the “where the Hood at” singer DMX died.

Bruno died at 68 while DMX passed on at 50.
