The daughters of President Buhari and Vice-President Osinbajo’s have, on Saturday, joined the #EndPoliceBrutality campaign, which seeks to stop police harassment, brutality and extrajudicial killings.

They both took to their social media pages on Saturday to support the movement.

The daughter of the President, Zahra Buhari-Indimi, posted a photo of clenched fists on her Instagram status with the words, “#EndPoliceBrutality.”

Also, the Vice-President’s daughter, Kiki Osinbajo, posted the same photo on Instagram with the caption, “Police Brutality Must End Now… #EndPoliceBrutality #EndSARS.”

Many Nigerian youths have, however, asked them to directly convey the message to their fathers, citing that as it would be more productive than the common social media post.

The #EndSARS protest have reached the third day as thousands of youths have been publicly protesting the excesses of the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force: brutality, extortion, extrajudicial kilings and others.
