Grammy winner, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has broken another record as the first artiste to hit one billion streams on the digital music streaming platform, Boomplay.
Burna Boy, who is the most followed artiste with 600,000 followers on the platform, has hit 1 billion.
He recently achieved this with the addition of his seventh studio album, ‘I Told Them’.
The ‘Last Last’ crooner is also the first Afrobeat star to amass 1 billion streams on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Audiomack.
Boomplay was created in 2015 and is one of the biggest music streaming platform in Africa.
