Controversial rap artist, Cardi B has debunked rumours that Grammy winner rapper, Eminem, rejected a feature on her upcoming album.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer, who is prone to her defensive outburst, has slammed those spreading rumours concerning her anticipated album.
According to a tweet, twelve-time Grammy winner and rapper turned down a feature when a song was sent to him.
The tweet claimed Cardi B doesn’t respect her craft and culture.
The tweet reads: “Insiders report: that Eminem has now declined a ft request for Cardi B’s upcoming project: says ‘she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft’.”
Cardi B replied the tweet, stating it’s all false and no song has been sent. She also said she respect Eminem but no song was sent to him.
She said, “BIG LIES…I get off the internet and ya making things up. I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense.”
Although her response confirmed her upcoming album is being worked on, she has denied having anything with Eminem.
However, some have reacted on Twitter following Cardi B’s response. Some claimed Eminem’s refusal is ideal considering the artist has been rumoured to have ghostwriters.
Another Twitter user said Eminem will not welcome a feature with Cardi B because the female rapper doesn’t respect the hip hop culture, which Eminem solely participated in building up.
The tweet reads: “Sounds true, I believe Eminem won’t ever work with you…You don’t really care about the culture.”
Another fan however supported the female artist, laying emphasis on the rapper’s lyrics to song titled, ‘Clout’.
The tweet read: “Yeah, I thought she was playing when she said that using her name for clickbait.”
