Mother and manager of Grammy-award-winning singer, Burna Boy, Bose Ogulu, had asked the Nigeria artiste to carry himself the way he want others to treat him.

The sensational singer’s Mother made the statement during a chat with media personality, Latasha Ngwube, on The WILL Downtown volume.

When asked on how to navigate the real world as a woman, she stressed on the need to earn people’s respect by respecting oneself first.

She said people need to see the intelligent side of you rather than a fine face and a perfect body alone.

In her response to the media personality, she said, ”Carry yourself the way you want to be treated. If you make yourself an object, you’ll be treated like one.

“Let people know there is a brain between your ears, when they do, they may be uncomfortable around you, but they will respect you. It is more important to be respected than liked.

“Be competent at what you decide to do or learn competence in something, before you do it.

“Shut Up, when you don’t know what people are talking about, (that should be a prerequisite for all twitter users before logging on) have the loudest voice when you do know,” she said.

Burna Boy has been managed by his mother for years. It can be recalled that she received the singer’s BET award on his behalf in 2019.
