Afrobeat singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable has cried out stating that singer Carterefe stole his former signee, Young Duu from him.
The signee recently dropped a song ‘Oyinmo’ with Carterefe on Wednesday, November 8.
Portable took to Instagram Live to rant. He said Carterefe is trying to blackmail him because he has an upcoming album on its way.
He said they are using his former signee to get back at him.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner said, “Hello ladies and gentlemen, Carterefe dem know say I don post my album na e make dem dey blackmail me.
“Dem dey use my boy, Young Duu dey enter me.
“Boy that I bought into the industry and took like my son, they’ve stolen him from me. This world is a wicked place.”
Carterefe has replied Portable on his social media. On his Instagram Live, he referred to Portable as dumb. According to him, his signee will be more successful than him.
“Portable is dumb… I will make sure say Young Duu will be successful.
“Young Duu dey drop EP next time. I go shock you, Portable. E go shock you well.”
