A talents, artworks and skills competition for Nigerians between the ages 18 and 35 has been launched by the Central Bank of Nigeria as part of events lined up to mark the Global Money Week programme.
This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday which mentioned that eligible participants might win a wide range of electronics gadgets.
The CBN statement read: “Showcase your talents, artworks and skills by posting a 120 seconds video or a photo on how you can Take Care of Yourself and Take Care of Your Money”.
According to CBN, the Grand Finale would take place via Zoom on the 30th of March.
Global Money Week (GMW) is a global money awareness celebration that takes place in March every year.
It is coordinated by the Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI) Secretariat to raise awareness on Economic Citizenship and directly engage children and youth worldwide on the issue.
The celebration of Global Money Week consists of a series of activities held at the regional, national and local level by the partners and stakeholders of the Child and Youth Finance Movement, and are geared toward engaging children, youth and their communities in learning about financial education and financial inclusion.
