Charles Oputa, also known as “Charly Boy” recently shared a video via his verified Twitter handle, @AreaFada1, to his 157k followers that leading Hollywood actors have endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), ahead of the 2023 elections.
In the video, some Hollywood actors and celebrities held a whiteboard which reads “yes it makes sense to vote Peter Obi in 2023”.
Charly Boy shared the video on Monday with a caption below:
“Impressive! Peter Obi’s campaign has taken on a global outlook with leading American TV and Hollywood actors driving the campaign.”
A Google reverse image search discovered that the video was doctored to mislead electorates.
The original video was one of Wired Autocomplete series, an interview session where celebrities answer the most commonly searched questions about them on the web and was first uploaded in April 11 2016.
