Comedian and actress, Helen Paul, has revealed her recent experience with an auto crash, which rendered her right eye black, swollen and red.
The comedian took to her Instagram page on Sunday, October 10, to share her story.
She posted a picture of herself with the red stained eye. It also has a significant black under eye.
Helen stated that she was in an auto crash recently and she had a concussion.
The Jara co-presenter also revealed how she has been forced to wear sunglasses to cover up the aftermath of the accident, which is her red stained eyes.
According to her, she sometimes had to use her sunglasses when taking pictures with her friends.
She said, “Sometime ago, I was involved in a car accident in Abuja. I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while.
“When taking pictures with others, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them. Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star.
“They were totally oblivious of the true situation. Not all things are truly what they appear to be. Many are hiding alot and showing the best side on social media. Focus on the majors and forget the minors.

Although some of her colleagues took to her comment section to thank God for sparing her life, other fans disagreed with her story.
They claimed a black eye is evidence of domestic violence.
The comedian recently bagged a doctorate degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.
