Popular ‘Kayamata’ seller and sex therapist, Hauwa Saidu also known as Jaruma, has been re-arrested and her bail bond revoked following her absence from court.
The controversial therapist, who was granted bail few weeks ago, has been ordered to be arrested.
The Judge, Justice Ismaila Abdullahi, of an Upper Area Court in Abuja, on Wednesday, February 23, made the order.
According to the Judge, Jaruma should be remanded in the Suleja Correctional Centre till the next date which was adjourned to March 17, 2022.
The defendant and her lawyers were absent in court.
Recall that Jaruma was arrested after her confrontation with Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ husband on social media. She was charged with defamation of character and spreading false news publications.
She was arraigned before an Upper Area Court in the Zuba area of Abuja on Monday.
Hours after her initial arrest, Jaruma was seen sharing food to prisoners. She also bragged online about the number of days she spent in prison contrary to what the media said.
