Mallam Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari is responding well to treatment for Coronavirus at a private hospital in Lagos.
Abba Kyari, who flew into Lagos from Abuja on Monday to begin his treatment in a hospital, had been in self isolation in Abuja since he tested positive to the disease.
KaftanPost sources say the President’s right hand man, apart from minor cough is still not showing any symptom of COVID-19.
But his doctors are taking no chances at all and have put him on complete bed rest with his phones taken away from him.
It could be recalled that the Chief of Staff issued a statement on Monday announcing he had been advised to seek medical treatment in Lagos and was coming to the former federal capital that day.
In the statement, Abba Kyari said: “This is a precautionary measure: I feel well, but last week, I tested positive for coronavirus, the pandemic that is sweeping the world. I have followed all the protocols government has announced to self-isolate and quarantine.”
