Celebrities have reacted to the redesigned Naira Notes released some hours ago for public viewing and have since been heavily criticised.

The Naira notes will be released for circulation on December 15, 2022.

Just like other Nigerians, some celebrities have reacted to the notes.

Daddy Freeze on his Instagram page said CBN must have taken time using the Snapchat app to redesign the notes.

He said, “Congratulations on the new Naira it must have taken many sleepless nights on Snapchat to create such perfection…”

OAP Toolz said, “I’m confused…this isn’t real right? Because isn’t this what happens when you accidentally leave money in your jeans and wash them?”

OAP Dotun on Twitter wrote, “The CBN probably signed a deal with Snapchat to use filters on the new money.

“Who dey always advise these people?”

Destiny Etiko on Instagram wrote, “Pls what’s the difference here?”

Comedian Basketmouth made series of photos of himself to look similar to the new notes, he wrote, “The only constant thing in life is… CHANGE.”

Johnny Drille tweeted: “These new notes are uglier.”
