Reviews are pouring in over Tiwa Savage’s performance at the new monarch, King Charles III’s Coronation.
Her colleagues and fans have taken to the comment section of the singer to congratulate her for a job well done. This includes her long time boss and friend, Don Jazzy, singer Davido, Spryo and many more.
Tunde Ednut described Tiwa Savage and her performance as a stepping stone for the country. He stated that over 18 million watched the live performance. Don Jazzy in the comment section stated that the Afrobeat queen ‘over represent’ which means she did more than expected.
Sypro in a comment section said, “QUEEN FOR A REASON” while actor Stannze wrote, “Wow! Naija to the world”.
Davido described her as the queen of afrobeat.
The artiste equally took to her Instagram page to share a clip of her performance. She said she would tell her son the performer was Tiwa Savage.
She wrote, “One day, I will tell my son that this is ‘Tiwa Savage'”.
Tiwa Savage becomes the first African artiste to perform at a British coronation ceremony.
