Award winning Afrobeat artiste, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has reacted to the apology made by comedian AY Makun.

Recall that the comedian in a recent stand-up performance in Warri, Delta state, had made fun of Davido’s paternity.

AY had made some insensitive jokes stating that Davido who is a smaller person with a small manhood is going on a pregnancy spree with several women while it took him 13 years to make a second baby.

His jokes had not been received well on social media. Many called him over the joke and others attacked him with insults resulting in his wife, Mabel, defending him online.

Following the outburst, AY apologised to Davido for making such jokes about his private life. He said the blogs had misconstructed the issue.

He wrote, “I am very sorry for the way that joke came out in Warri. You have every right to be angry after seeing how it was used by blogs.

“Please understand that we are all constantly learning in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash coming my way for the poorly delivered joke in Warri.

“So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason for them. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido.”

In response to the apology, Davido in the comment section accepted the apology. He wrote, “Nothing spoil baba mi.”
