Ace actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, has urged celebrities to show more support and love for their colleagues while they are alive.

RMD as he fondly called made this call on Monday on his Instagram page following what he described as a “rollercoaster” weekend that witnessed the death of fellow movie veteran, Rachel Oniga and a show hosted by comedian RealWarriPikin.

According to him, the only thing we all have in life is each other; the way we treat one another and the love we share.

He said, “This weekend brought about a roller coaster of emotions. The demise of a dear colleague and the successful show of my daughter @realwarripikin both left me with a bittersweet feeling.

“My timeline is inundated with different condolence messages, I reminisced on my different encounters with Lady Rachel Oniga- it hit me once again.

“The only thing we truly have in life is each other, the way we treat one another and the love we share. Each interaction, every emotion we give or don’t give is a fleeting moment we might never get to experience again.

“It is important to recognize that at the end of our lives, it’s the memories and the love we have given that will forever stay in the memories of one another.

“Last night inWarrii @realwarripikin unfiltered, I saw the greatness that can be all of us when we pull together and just love and support each other. It was the most beautiful show I’ve seen in years.

“I hope we get to do more for ourselves when we are alive. Reach out and touch somebody today. I did in Warri this weekend and I hope they all pay it forward.”
