Afrobeat singer, Idowu Adeyemi also known as Yhemolee, has pleaded with his fans over comparison with a known internet fraud, Hushpuppi.
The artiste was seen in a viral video sharing money and his fans who recognised similarity between the fraudster and himself.
Some stated that the artiste is richer than Hushpuppi, others noted that his lavishness is similar to other Afrobeat stars.
Yhemolee, who was not having the news of the comparison, quickly took to his Twitter (X) account. He begged his fans not to implicate him because he is only earning money from his beer parlour business.
He wrote, “Abeg, make una stpp to Dev compare me with Hushpuppi Abeg. Na so una Dey let person quick @e..
“Shey from this my beer parlor work na him una Dey take talk this one. Na beg I Dey beg una do. Make una no put me for trouble at this small age.”
