Factual Pursuit of Truth for Progress

Politician Prince Kpokpogiri Joseph has been arrested by the DSS on alleged cases of blackmail, extortion and obtaining by false pretences.

Recall that an actress, earlier today, had revealed some tough news to swallow concerning the same man.

According to a popular blog, the politician has been arrested after a statement was submitted to the Nigerian Police.

The statement, which is dated September 6, 2021, was released on the blog.

In the statement released, it explained how Prince Kpokpogiri was able to make passes at the actress, Tonto Dikeh, using her nude pictures and videos to blackmail her.

An excerpt of the statement reads: “We are solicitors to Miss Tonto Dikeh, and it is on her instruction that we write this petition to your esteemed office. We have briefed as follows.

“That sometime in June 2021, one Prince Kpokpogiri Joseph started to court our client with a proposal to marry her.

“In the process, he would invite our client to his residence and sometimes he came over to our client’s residence. Unknown to our client, the said Joseph Kpokpogiri (who our client later discovered to be a serial blackmailer) had other motives for courting our client.

“Our client now has reasons and evidence to believe that Joseph Kpokpogiri had planted a close-circuit camera (CCTV Camera) at private areas of his residence and has stage-managed those visits with the aim of blackmailing our client.

“She was surprised when sometime in August 2021, the suspect started demanding money from her and threatening to expose nude pictures and other documents relating to her to actualise his demands.”
