Popular rapper and human rights activist, Falana Folarin also known as Falz, has paid tribute to injured persons and souls lost at Lekki Tollgate during the #EndSARS movement.
Falz, who has been open about his involvement in the #EndSARS movement, took to his Instagram page to post a text photo in remembrance of ‘Lekki Massacre’.
In his text photo, he wrote “We will not forget. 20:10:20. Lekki Massacre.”
His caption read: “365 days ago, Nigerian citizens were shot and killed at the toll gate by our own military men.
“Today we honour them because they have sacrificed their very existence for a cause bigger than all of us.
“They live forever in our hearts.
“We will never ever forget.”
Recall that a year ago, the peaceful protest at Lekki Tollgate was hijacked by armed men in military uniforms who were shooting sporadically in the air and at the protesters.
This left many injured and some allegedly dead.
