Former YBNL star, Temmie Ovwasa, has rendered her opinion on the rise of peadophiles and rape in Nigeria.

The controversial artist made it known through a Twitter post on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

According to her, the main reason for the rise of sexual harassment is because there is at least a predator in every family in Nigeria.

She stated that almost every lady growing up in a family has been sexually harassed by uncles and aunties without anyone speaking up.

”There are many pedophiles in Nigeria, We’re not addressing it as we should and it’s stressing my brain out.

“Every family has one, Almost every Nigerian women I’ve met has been sexually harassed/abused by an uncle. Where are these uncles? In their homes, ‘Head of the house'”.

“What do you expect from a country where it’s legal to marry children in some parts? That grown man with a younger wife and a baby they had when she was obviously a minor? You know him? Yeah, I know a lot of them too.

“Keep pretending it’s not happening right under your noses,” she concluded.

Ovwasa got signed to Olamide’s YBNL’s records in 2016 and she made her exit in 2020 and has, since then, been in the news either by her regrets for going to YBNL or for her rage tweets about sexual preferences and activities.

She is known for her singles, ‘Afefe’, ‘Jabole’ and ‘Bamidele’.

Following her exit, she dropped her album titled ‘E be like sey dem swear for me’ which means ‘I feel cursed’.

The 12-track project embodies a seamless progression from passion to rage, erotical and preference about sexuality.
