Magazine Publisher, Simi Esiri, has announced the passing of her father on her social media account.
Esiri posted some pictures of her father on her Instagram page, on Friday, August 6, 2021, expressing how she misses her father.
According to her, her father died two weeks ago.
She said, “It’s been two weeks since my father made a peaceful transition to the lord surrounded by family. Even though it still hurts so much.
“I know by God’s infinite mercy, he is resting now in the bosom of the Lord and despite how heartbroken we are, in all things we should give thanks, so I’m thanking God for a life well spent.
“My life is forever changed, I miss your big hugs and your optimistic approach to every single aspect of life.
“Thank you for everything daddy. I have the best childhood memories because of you. Everything I’ve become so far is from your footprint. I think of you all time and miss you everyday but I know you are in heaven watching down on us.
“May you always rest in perfect peace. You’re forever in our hearts Daddy, love you ever so dearly.”
Simi Esiri was married to Afrobeat singer, Dr Sid, before they went their separate ways in 2020.
They have two children together.
