A popular food critic, Opeyemi Famakin, has cried out following death threats he received from Don Jazzy’s fans over a review he made on his burger.
Opeyemi on his Instagram page cried out stating that if anything happens to him, his fans should be held responsible.
He said he doesn’t have thick skin and he is not ready to die.
The food critic who had done a review about the burger a few months ago decided to have a follow back review. He faulted Don Jazzy for not including fries in a burger that is that expensive.
According to him, the burger is one of the most expensive burgers in Nigeria yet he doesn’t have side dishes.
Having said this, he revealed that his DMs are full of people threatening him and it has become serious.
He wrote, “The Number of Death Threats I’ve gotten today from Don Jazzy Fans.
“For the first time in my life, As a food critic, I am Legit scared for my life
If anything happens to me, it was nice serving y’all
Remember, If I said it, then I meant it.
“Not gonna lie, I do not feel safe with the DMS I’ve been getting. Imagine being shot because of a burger review.
“Apparently my skin is not as thick as I thought it was. Not when my life is involved. After what happened to Aka. e reach to be paranoid.”
