Gospel artiste, Funke Glorious, has called her colleague, Yinka Alaseyori, out over an alleged case of intellectual theft on her songs.

The singer on her Instagram page made a video to call out the ‘Oniduro’ artiste.

Funke said Yinka is fond of using people’s songs as hers. She said the singer did the same for her song ‘Oniduro’ and she was credited for it.

According to her, the singer has gone further to allegedly steal another song of hers by removing some lyrics and making it her own.

She called on the elders in the gospel music industry to warn Yinka Alaseyori because she is done being silent over the constant stealing of songs.

An excerpt of what she said read, “Anybody who knows her should warn her. When you do something bad, you wouldn’t talk about it, you would keep quiet. What rubbish is that in this industry? You did it the first, second, and now the third. Are you cursed?

“If I choose to keep quiet, it isn’t because I am stupid, dumb or unable to fight. I have copyright of my songs”. But if you insist on using my songs as Fuji, Tungba everywhere… (Curses).

“Why don’t you sit down to compose your song—the song is for me. Let’s call a spade a spade because I’m being accused of doing too much. Some people came to me to challenge me that the songs are different. Don’t you know about plagiarism?…

“Why do you use another thing? Warn her. You can do the same with Oniduro. You are fond of doing that with people’s songs?… ”
