Popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has died. She was aged 42.
The singer was reported to have died on Friday night, April 8, 2022, in an Abuja hospital after battling an undisclosed ailment for months.
According to reports, she has been on life support for months before she succumbed to the illness.
The Imo State singer is survived by her husband and four children.
Osinachi was the lead singer at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre up till she had her last breath. She is best known for her hit gospel song Ekwueme, which she did with Prospa Ochimana.
The sad news of her death was announced by Darlington Chikezie Ibekwe, who broke it on his Facebook page.
It reads, “Gospel artiste Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu, best known for her song Ekwueme, has passed away.”
Her cause of death is yet to be ascertained, however rumours claim she was battling with throat cancer.
