In what seems like a major twist, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissociated itself from an alleged national campaign council lists for November 11, 2023, governorship elections for Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi States in circulation in sections of the media.

A list of campaign council, which included the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was purportedly released by the ruling party on Tuesday.

But in a major twist, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement late Tuesday, denied the list.

Morka said the lists being circulated didn’t originate from the party and should therefore be disregarded.

“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a national campaign council lists for the November 11, governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo States in circulation in sections of the media.

“The lists are not official documents of the party and should be disregarded.”
