Amidst the escalating EndSARS protest across the country, KAFTAN TV crew in Ondo City in Ondo State were not left out of attacks by suspected hoodlums turned protesters.

The event, which occurred at around midday on Wednesday, began when Kaftan TV crew went on a news coverage duty at the Yaba area of Ondo.

It will be recalled that the same Yaba area in Ondo was earlier in the news for sporadic shootings leading to no less than three persons feared dead and some others injured as reported by KAFTAN TV correspondent at the early hours of Wednesday while the happenings were still fresh.

KaftanPost correspondent consequently gathered that the TV crew went back to the embattled area on hearing that the city’s monarch was billed to address the Youth protesters in order to foster peace.

KaftanPost correspondent however learnt that the story changed when on getting to the venue, suspected hoodlums armed with sticks and stones charged at the crew in their duty vehicles, hauling stones and sticks at them. One of the crew members named Alex Prince got hit by a stick throwned at them in the car, sustaining injury on his elbow.

This action elicited immediate attempts by the attacked crew to seek for cover while turning backwards to escape the unprecedented attack.
