Some hoodlums, on Wednesday, stormed the Lagos office of King Adebayo Film and Theatre Arts Network, demanding that it take down the Nigerian flag.

The office located in Ogba houses media television station, KAFTAN TV and online newspaper, KAFTANPost.

“Some hoodlums came to the gate and said they’d burn down the building because the Nigerian flag was hoisted and we must bring it down,” our reporter was told.

Protest demanding an end to police brutality across Nigeria under the hashtag #EndSARS has taken a violent twist in recent days after being hijacked by hoodlums.

In various parts of the country, the once peaceful exercise has been hampered by miscreants, prompting some states to be placed on a curfew.

However, the threat by hoodlums on KAFTAN facility may not be disconnected from shooting of protesters at Lekki toll gate on Tuesday evening.

Although Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said no life was lost, reports reveal over a dozen innocent Nigerians were killed.

Media houses have been targeted by hoodlums over perceived bias in the coverage of the mass movement.

Television Continental (TVC) and Channels TV have also come under similar attack.

  1. So did you people remove the flag for your facility not to be breached, or you stood up for Nigeria as a patriotic citizen?
